1,170 US companies were ranked on the close of Wednesday, 28 October 2026. Cricut is first with a score of 84.5, as it was the session before. Flexsteel Industries joins the five, and Progyny drops out.
How to read the four numbers
Every company gets four scores, and each is a percentile against other companies in its own sector, on the same day. Cheapness 98 means the company looks cheaper than 98% of its sector on enterprise value against operating profit, free cash flow and sales, plus what it returns to shareholders. It does not mean cheap against the market.
The four combine into one composite: cheapness 40%, quality 30%, safety 20%, confirmation 10%. To be ranked at all a company must trade above $3.0, be worth $300 million, and turn over $2 million of stock a day. Banks, insurers and property trusts are excluded, because enterprise-value measures do not describe those balance sheets honestly. This session 1,170 companies were ranked and 144 were left out for want of data.

1 · Cricut — Industrials
Quality of 99: 96.0% return on invested capital and profits backed by cash. Confirmation of 82: up 20.7% over twelve months and at 125% of its 200-day average.
Safety of 72: net cash, interest covered 217.0 times and share count down 1.5% on the year.
The session before it was #1 at $6.15 with a score of 84.4; today's close is −1.3% on that.
2 · Flexsteel Industries Inc. — Materials
Confirmation of 98: up 139.9% over twelve months and at 116% of its 200-day average. Safety of 91: net cash, interest covered 2114.7 times and share count down 23.1% on the year.
Cheapness of 77: enterprise value 7.1 times operating profit and 6.0 times free cash flow.
New to the top of the board this session.
3 · Gentex Corp. — Autos & Transport Equipment
Quality of 85: 17.6% return on invested capital and profits backed by cash. Cheapness of 85: enterprise value 8.1 times operating profit, 7.0 times free cash flow and a 9.8% trailing shareholder yield.
Confirmation of 60: down 6.7% over twelve months and at 87% of its 200-day average.
The filings did not supply interest cover, so the score leans on fewer measures than usual.
The session before it was #2 at $20.21 with a score of 81.6; today's close is −0.7% on that.
4 · NerdWallet — Technology
Cheapness of 96: enterprise value 7.8 times operating profit, 4.8 times free cash flow and a 10.3% trailing shareholder yield. Quality of 85: 23.7% return on invested capital and profits backed by cash.
Confirmation of 39: down 29.2% over twelve months and at 108% of its 200-day average.
The filings did not supply gross profitability, so the score leans on fewer measures than usual.
The session before it was #3 at $10.60 with a score of 81.6; today's close is +0.7% on that.
5 · Yelp Inc. — Consumer Services
Cheapness of 99: enterprise value 5.7 times operating profit, 3.1 times free cash flow and a 28.7% trailing shareholder yield. Quality of 90: 21.5% return on invested capital and profits backed by cash.
Confirmation of 13: down 44.6% over twelve months and at 77% of its 200-day average.
The filings did not supply gross profitability and interest cover, so the score leans on fewer measures than usual. The shareholder yield is a trailing twelve-month figure, divided by today's market value: a lower price raises it without a dollar more being returned.
The session before it was #5 at $18.75 with a score of 80.2; today's close is −1.8% on that.
The standing limit: in testing, this ranking ordered the universe — the bottom decile performed consistently worse than the top — but the top decile itself performed about in line with the market. A high rank buys a shorter reading list. It does not buy a return.
